Our first visitors

Our move to Paris has coincided with some new technology in our lives. Like many expats these days, we picked up on the idea of Skype to keep up with friends and family while we are gone. For those who are not as technically savvy, Skype is a free program that lets you make calls over the internet for about $.02/minute. If you are calling another Skype account (vs cell phone or land line) it's free. It's really been a great way to keep up with everyone. My parents, usually several steps behind on the technology front, decided to one up us this time. My father bought a web cam and surprised us with a call one night. Broadcast from their living room into ours with no delay was the following image: Our first e-visitors! My brother and his wife followed shortly after now and bought one.
