Well it's time to leave for Paris and we are loaded with bags! You can see in the photo that we squeezed our stuff into 5 large bags (each weight 50#'s), 2 carry on rollers, and two large bags to go under the seat. Hey, we're packing for a year.
Our biggest fear is that we would get to the airport and something would be "overweight" and we would have to pay extra. Thankfully, all the bags passed their weigh in with a little help from Matt! He gave a supportive lift to the two bags that were the closest while the agent was weighing them on the scale. American airlines 2 checked bags a person plus a carry on, so we only had to pay $150 for the 5th large bag. Whew.
Now we only have to get them from Charles de Gaulle aiport to our hotel and then to our apartment. No problem...

We're off to Paris!
